Milestones!

Cameron and I have been hitting some milestones in the past couple of weeks that we would like to share....

1. I never have to buy formula again!!! Thats right I made my very last bottle last week and I'm not going to do it again...at least not for my own kids!


2. I only have one more kid left in diapers then its FREEDOM!...okay so I still have another year or more left for Shayla but I am proud to say that ANDIN IS OFFICIALLY POTTY TRAINED AND HE JUST TURNED TWO IN NOVEMBER! WAY TO GO ANDIN!

3. We have begun the "sports playing" stage! Logan had his first Basketball game last week and although during his first game he mostly fluttered around like a butterfly flapping his wings, lost in his own world and didn't pay attention to what was happening around him....we were very proud! We worked with him on some techniques and are happy to report that his 2nd game WAS AWESOME! He did exactly what he was supposed to do and he did great! He brought me to tears! Way to go BULLS!





4. Ryler Turned 4 on Monday! He had a "you know Mom, the green race car with the black mustache cake!" I had no idea what he was talking about but I figured out it was the green car on "Cars." Anyway, The cake turned out great and since he had a race car birthday everyone got him hotwheels cars! We added about 50 new cars to our collection! Happy Birthday Ryler!


Cam and I, My Parents and Aunt Karen and got Ryler some Transformers toys which was a hit! Even Shayla begs to wear the Helmet which transforms your voice to sound just like Optimus Prime!
5. Okay, I hate to admit this horrible thing but also this week I found what seems to be the making of a tiny grey hair on MY head! AAAAAAGGGHHHH! Talk about Depressing! I'm only going to be 31 next week! Yay for my birthday!


6. Finally! Our last child Shayla is just starting to walk! She doesn't have much confidence in herself but she can do it! She is so precious! She sings to herself in the softest voice and boy does she love her Dad! She can't get enough of him (visa/versa) This was taken last night as she enjoyed her very first ice cream cone!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

On Christmas morning when Logan ran out the door and saw this he said "Wow! A riding lawn mower!" (Cam had just bought a riding lawn mower a few days before and they were driving around on it....needless to say Logan was a little confused at first...when he realized what it really was he was shocked!)

Happy New Years! While Cam was away on business all of the wives of his co-workers had a New Years bash at our house! We rode the 4-wheeler! Smashed a huge pinata, ate really yummy homemade tamales and way too much chocolate! And of course did sparklers and a balloon drop! We all had a blast!


Yesterday, Jan 4th, Ryler and Andin decided to get in our kiddie pool (it had a little bit of sprinkler water in it) the next thing I knew they were naked, hanging from our tree!

It's been a month since my last post! Catch up time!

After lieing to me 3 times (the evidence was obvious) when I asked Ryler if he had gotten into the Scotcheroos he finally looked at me with this innocent face and said...
"I did it on accident, Mommy!"

Dear Santa...From Logan (5yrs)

I want a big giant dinosaur for Christmas. I am 5 years old and I have 2 brothers named Ryler and Andin. Ryler is 3 and Andin is 2 and I have a sister named Shayla and she is 9 months old. I love my brothers and my sister and my Mom and Dad. I am so grateful that I do everything right. I eat my food and beat the timer every single day. (we started timing him so that he would eat fast or else he would sit there chewing on one bite of food for 2 hours-no exaggeration) I love myself too. I drink healthy drinks and I eat healthy food and when I ask for snacks my Mom and Dad gives me snacks. I tell her everything I want and she gets it for me. I say my prayers every day. My house is all decorated for Christmas. I know when you get here you will put the presents behind the Christmas tree. You should wiggle your nose and get little to go down our chimney (we don't have a chimney just a vent) and then open our doors. That is how you get in here. I am wearing my good Spiderman costume (as opposed to the bad black Spiderman) and I have Spiderman 3. Its a really good movie and I can't wait till Spiderman 4 is out cause I want to watch another one. I know that the superheros live in New York because my Daddy went there and told me he saw them. I know the Spiderman song. Thank you Santa, I hope you have a safe trip to bring me presents and that you don't crash into bugs or birds.

Ryler asked me today, "What are all these dots on me?"

I responded, "They are called beauty marks, Heavenly Father gave them to you to make you look handsome and cool."

He then asked, "Did he drop them on me?

"Draw?" I asked.

"No, drop"

"Yes Ryler, he dropped them on you." I said smiling....What a cutie.
